The NoMad Jazz Festival announces its Mainstage lineup for 2026. Internationally acclaimed vocalist José James and The Jazz Gallery All-Stars will headline two days of free, open-to-the-public performances at Madison Square Park on Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8.
The full Mainstage lineup includes José James, Ben Wendel, George Cables, Jaleel Shaw with special guest Camille Thurman, Godwin Louis, John Ellis & Double-Wide, Yuhan Su, and The Jazz Gallery All-Stars featuring special guest Renee Neufville. Student performers from the South Bronx Charter School for International Cultures and the Arts and Swing-Along with Allegra Levy & Friends round out the intergenerational collaboration that reflects the NoMad Jazz Festival’s commitment to both excellence and access.
The Jazz Gallery All-Stars includes acclaimed veterans Miguel Zenón (alto saxophone) and Kendrick Scott (drums) alongside an exciting generation of emerging artists, including Nicole Glover (tenor saxophone), Skylar Tang (trumpet), Simon Moullier (vibraphone), Charles Altura (guitar), Ryoma Takenaga (bass), and NoMad Jazz Festival alum Dabin Ryu (piano), with special guest Renee Neufville on vocals.
Mainstage performances will be hosted by singer, WBGO announcer, and The Jazz Gallery co-founder, Lezlie Harrison and James Browne, former WBGO radio host, jazz concert presenter, and board member of The Jazz Gallery.
