Ben Wendel
GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist, composer, and producer Ben Wendel is one of the most versatile voices in contemporary jazz. A founding member of the GRAMMY-nominated ensemble Kneebody, he has collaborated with artists ranging from Tigran Hamasyan and Bill Frisell to Snoop Dogg and Prince. His acclaimed project The Seasons was named one of The New York Times’ best albums of 2015. A recipient of multiple Chamber Music America “New Works” grants and the ASCAP Jazz Composer Award, Wendel has released numerous solo recordings and maintains a global presence as an educator, delivering hundreds of masterclasses worldwide.
